It is made entirely with thrifted fabric, sheets, and even a vintage handkerchief, all bought from my local goodwill. The lace is vintage victorian lace, tea dyed by me. Seriously, this purse cost me about 50 cents to make. I bought a big bag of fabric for like, $4, and still have a TON left over.
If your soul was a purse, what would it look like?
I guess it would be a problem for crafty business owners if they were to fall in love with all the crafts they make! You really got a great deal on the fabric! I think your purse looks very much like it fits you perfectly. I'm not a purse girl at all--I carry one because my wallet and keys don't fit in my pocket, but I'd never carry one if I didn't have to. Sometimes I make Angel carry it.
ReplyDeleteoh man, i love that bag! if my soul was a bag, it would have a looong strap, because my mind tends to drift away, but i can always be pulled back. and it would have to be soft with lots of space, because i am always toting around tons of stuff.
ReplyDeleteI like the print of the purse very much, it's so colorful and fun!
