Last weekend the husband and I went camping with one of his good friends! He has two teenage children and also a cute dog.

It was cold, but fun. Both Mr. Adventure and I love camping, so I'm sure this will be a regular summer occurrence.

Some funny things that happened:
- We forgot the motor for the twin bed that I was supposed to sleep on (I don't like the ground) and so B and I used our lungs to blow it up. Not fun.
- For some reason they locked the bathrooms that night...so I had to pee in the woods.
- The teenage son talks in his sleep. Amusing! He also picks up salamanders with his bare hands. So brave.
- I stole the warmer sleeping bag. Thanks dear.
- When B woke up the next morning he peed outside our tent like 3 ft away and didn't understand why I was upset. If I can hear you, your too close.
i love camping! at least he didn't pee ON the tent. :)
ReplyDeleteAaaahh.... I want to go camping SO BAD! Hubs and I have been married almost 5 years and we've been camping once. ONCE. And I was 25 weeks pregnant. Yeah. We need to go again, asap!
ReplyDeleteI do not like camping. My family camped a lot when I was a kid because hotels were too expensive. I love being outdoors and hiking and all that, but I also like a warm bed and a real bathroom, thank you very much. Angel and I love staying at bed and breakfasts!
