Henna Hair
I recently dyed my hair with henna. I also made a tutorial if you are interested! My locks turned out bright, coppery red, unlike the strawberry blond of my last hair experiment. Yes, it really is this color in real life. I did not doctor these photos!
So, I absolutely love henna! I used 100% natural henna, with no chemicals or other herbs added. Its good for your hair, moisturizes and conditions it, as well as adds to the thickness of your strand via the color application. This is my color the day after applying. I plan on during more posts showing the progression of color decay, because henna does fade over time.
I got my henna on Etsy from Henna King! The only thing I didn't like about it is the smell. When you apply the henna mud, it smells like really, really strong green tea. And it looks like green mush. But the color afterwards is wonderful!
Have you ever tried any exciting dyes or colors?
