Great Finds
Oh, the things you can find in thrift stores!
I found this amazing handmade rose dress at Goodwill the other day. Its very clearly handmade (the edges are not serged, no tag) and is in near-perfect condition. The reason is was given away? There is a small barely perceptible 3mm hole in the bottom. But that is so fixable! Maybe the creator outgrew it? Because I have a cute idea to just sew in a little felt heart.
I am sometimes simply stunned at the treasures people give away. What is your greatest thrift store find?

So pretty!! My best thrift store find was probably a red tea-length semi-formal dress for $4. and a 50 cent pair of snow boots--they were ugly but great for sledding! I don't usually have the best luck finding things in my size, though. Or people around here just keep their stuff as long as possible.
what an amazing dress! I'll NEVER understand why some people give such amazing pieces away. I'm wearing a floral blazer in today's post that i almost fainted when i found it lol!
