Strawberry Shortcake?
I was beyond thrilled when I spied this strawberry skirt at my local thrift store. The only problem? The size tag read "13". I thought this meant that it was a child's skirt. However, I decided to buy it anyway, to possibly send to a tiny sized female friend.
Lo and behold it fits like a 6! (I am a 10, but I can wear a 6 high-waist style)
That makes me wonder what size it is supposed to be, because a teenage 13 is supposed to be a women's 12 or something. Clearly labeled wrong. Maybe that is why its at goodwill?
Needless to say, I was very happy. Yay, a new skirt; with strawberries on it! For 4$, that is a total steal!
In other news, I finished my book!! YUP! Totally done! When my talented proofreader Rachel gets done fixing all my terrible spelling, I'll let you guys see it :)

It's probably vintage -- hello, vanity sizing! I'm a 6-8 and my favorite vintage things (from late 60s-mid-70s) are all marked sizes 13-15.
in juvenile sizes sometimes the size isn't the "size" but the age of the child expected to wear it, so this is probably meant for a 13-year-old child. My five-year-old wears a size 6 or 7 because she is tall for her age, for instance.
